There were several big stories in the headlines during the run up to the Solar Eclipse that fitted eclipse symbolism, including the story that never goes away. Jeffrey Epstein certainly left long shadows behind when he took his own life back on 10 August 2019.
Looking back, there were two Eclipses the month before –
- 2 July Solar Eclipse 10 Cancer 2019
- 16 July Lunar Eclipse 24 Capricorn 2019
In Epstein’s chart these picked up –
- Ascendant 12 Capricorn
- Chiron conjunct the Asc, 15 Capricorn opposite Uranus 15 Capricorn (where we would locate the suicide risk?)
- Mercury in the 1st House at 21 Capricorn
The shadows have hung over Prince Andrew ever since, and of course that means they’ve hung over Sarah Ferguson too as, even though they’re divorced, they still live together. In the light of an email that’s come to light (classic eclipse, shadows falling and lifting) in which she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a “supreme friend” and feeling “hellaciously let down by me” she’s been dropped by a children’s charity. The word “inappropriate” was used. Other charities rapidly followed suit and her public life in this respect is in ruins.
Sarah has nothing on the Eclipse degrees (15 Pisces Lunar, 29 Virgo Solar) but Andrew does. He has Mercury at 17 Pisces in the 8th, in sextile to Saturn 15 Capricorn, ruler of his 7th House of partnership.
If you’re an astrology student it’s a great discipline to draw your charts up by hand – it creates a relationship with the chart and a better understanding of how it hangs together.
The big transit coming up next year for Sarah is when Saturn returns to Aries, his sign of fall, and reaches her Moon 6.37 Aries (April 2026). By then I would expect that both she and Andrew will have been distanced by the Royal family, possibly to the point of banishment.
Sarah also has a rare progression – an outer planet, in this case Pluto co-ruler of her Scorpio rising chart, has now progressed to 6.08 Virgo, making a partile (exact to the minute) sextile to Neptune 6.08 Scorpio in her 12th House of self undoing/ambush/those who are lost to us. She has a history of bouncing back, classic Scorpio Asc regeneration, but this time …?
