I’ve been doing readings, writing columns and books, teaching students in groups and one-to-one for over 30 years, and I’ve been writing The Astrology Blog for over 15 years. So, whether you’re a beginner or have been studying astrology or tarot or both for some time, I can be your guide to broader and deeper skills, knowledge and practice.

I’m based in Greece and run 4 courses a year aimed at beginners and intermediate astrology and tarot students. I offer readings, am a published author and write regularly about astrology in a regular free newsletter and a weekly subscription blog. The fascinating world of astrology

The very word ASTROLOGY is derived from the wisdom and knowledge (logos) of the stars (astra). In my work I aim to illustrate the “as above, so below” principle that our life here on planet Earth is in some magical way reflected back to us by the vast celestial mirror above.

Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck…

On 2 August I added to Amreen Choudhury‘s post about Jennifer Lopez –

‘Sounds as if a lot of her behaviour since then is even more in the self-destruct category under that Pluto transit and I would be amazed if this didn’t end in divorce.’

This was also in reference to my write up in my weekly blog at the end of May when I wrote –

Last week I commented that J Lo is currently picking up a lot of the sensitive degrees and that I thought that the celeb gossip pages may well be right about the speculations re divorce from Ben Affleck. Pluto is about endings and the divorce planet is Uranus –

  • Pluto transiting opposite her Sun at 1.34 Leo
  • Critical degrees – her Moon is 29 Scorpio
  • Full Moon fell exactly on her Mars at 3 Sagittarius, and this planet is the ruler of the 7th House of marriage
  • AND her natal Venus is in Gemini, so Jupiter is on his way – can be liberation if a relationship has turned sour
  • Natal Neptune at 26 Scorpio, Uranus is on his way

21 May I wrote –

‘She’s currently getting bad press and “celeb blocking” for taking part in the Met Gala, with its ostentatious display of glamour and wealth, without using her platform to draw attention to the direct opposite situation of suffering in Gaza.’

‘This decreases the celebrity’s audience size, leading social media algorithms to deprioritize their content. Some celebs are losing millions of followers’.

So this news on Friday came as no surprise, that she’s cancelling the US leg of her live tour, that was scheduled to start 26 June –

The ticketing company announced on Friday that she was “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends”. Jo Lo wrote – “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down … I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

Apparently poor ticket sales are part of this picture, which totally fits with the issue of losing her following. But it’s also telling that “her husband” isn’t listed specifically, so marriage issues still in the mix and the astrology may well also be showing the “divorce” of countless fans.

The decision to cancel a tour is huge and is either the ultimate face saving of a proud Leo or the result of a marriage breakdown. Or both …
