The Scorpio/Pluto theme continues and is the dominant theme until Thursday. This can be tricky stuff. Scorpio – sign of emotional intensity, deep seated issues, and the use/abuse of power and control are just some of the characteristics that can give this sign a bad name. Similarly, Scorpio’s co-ruling planet Pluto is often portrayed as the devil himself, being god of the underworld. In mythology his notoriety is linked to the abduction of Persephone. Wrapped up with both the sign and the planet then is the whole subject of sex – as the source of rebirth/healing or as the source of great evil. As above, so below. You’ve only got to look at the news right now to read about missing little April Jones, the “rebirth” of Ian Brady and the sordid stories around Scorpio Jimmy Savile to see the dark side of these themes at work.
In terms of your own day to day dealings note that Scorpio/Pluto symbolism often links into secrets and silences or victim behavior. The best possible interpretation of the current picture is to recognize the transformational potential of personal courage and responsibility, the importance of self awareness and the triumph of this over fear. Don’t allow yourself to be controlled or intimidated! The other best showing for these themes is healing, emotional or physical, through the power of words or self love.
On a lighter note – thankfully! – Mars has now exited Scorpio and is starting a journey through adventurous Sagittarius. Travelling, planning for the future and any project linked to learning/education gets a big tick.
