Introduction

Tarot is fun, intriguing and easy to learn and this course is based on my book and tarot deck, The Astrology Tarot.

As a rough guide the course study split is about 75% tarot and 25% astrology.

This course is designed for all Tarot students and Beginners / Refreshers Astrology students who are interested in honing their tarot skills along with learning about the connection between tarot and astrology.

  • Tutor fees and study materials.
  • Regular tea, coffee and water (if you prefer infusions please bring them with you, along with any special diet items).
  • Transport to and from your hotel on the four study days.

Greek Island Course: Cards on the Table – Tarot and Astrology

Course content

This course is suitable for all tarot levels, whether the cards are completely new to you or whether you already have some familiarity with the practice of tarot.

We’ll be covering card meanings as we go along, especially in terms of how to interpret your cards within the context and framework of the questions being asked.

Many students tend to give up on the tarot when they come up against the difficulty of interpreting the many different combinations of cards. If you’ve experienced confusion or disillusionment at this point then this course is for you.

You’ll learn how traditional keywords are just surface meanings, and that keywords are your springboard into the story, acting as your prompts, rather than “one size fits all” definitions.

And we’ll also cover a variety of effective spreads, from an “overview” of someone’s life to easy spreads for specific questions, such as relationships, work or personal issues of all kinds.

We’ll look at your own horoscope (it’s beyond the scope of the course to work with other horoscopes) and I’ll teach you some tricks of the trade.

You’ll discover how just a little astrology can enrich your readings, especially with regard to arriving at accurate timings. Astrology adds another extremely powerful string to your predictive bow.

All students receive their horoscope hand drawn by me, to keep and to work on during the week.

  • Arrival: Wednesday 2nd September

Time

  • Study days are Thursday / Friday and then Sunday / Monday
  • First day (Thursday) 11am to 3pm
  • Remaining three study days (Friday, Sunday, Monday) 10am to 3pm
  • Lunch break is one hour with a 15 minute break in the morning and another in the afternoon.
  • Free days (Saturday and Tuesday)

FAQs

Solo travel

  • Most students travel to Nidri alone and find this works because they’re meeting up with fellow students who share a passion for astrology or tarot.
  •  You’ll have the choice to spend time alone or there’s always company for the free days, excursions and evening meals.
  • Many students return to meet up with the friends made on previous courses.

Booking your place

  • There are 10 places on each week. It’s important to let me know ASAP. You can either pencil in or you can guarantee your place by paying a non-returnable deposit of £100.00.
  • Your deposit is transferable to a different course in the same season.
  • If you’re attending Elisabeth or Sally’s course, then you’ll pay the deposit direct to them and they will supply you with UK bank details.
  • The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the start date of your course and is then non-refundable.

Lunch options

  • On the four study days you can bring your own lunch with you.
  • Or we can order in from a local taverna, which comes to around 7 – 10 Euros a head depending on your choice.
  • Choices include a selection of salads, local cheese pies and more.

What happens in the evenings?

  • All study days finish at 3pm so that you have plenty of beach or siesta time.
  • We’ll organise a group meal every evening.
  • These are optional for everyone, including the tutors, but the norm is for everyone to meet up so you never have to be alone unless you wish to be.
  • It’s a great time to talk astrology in a social setting.
  • Evening meals come to around 20 – 25 Euros a head, including drinks, depending on your menu choices.
